from New Orleans, he graduated with High Honors from The University of Texas at Austin
and was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. He subsequently returned to
Louisiana to attend Louisiana State University School of Medicine.
During medical school, Dr. Cary completed a research fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco under the
mentorship of renowned dermatologist Dr. Howard Maibach, contributing to more than twenty peer-reviewed
publications and textbook chapters. He completed his dermatology residency at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, where he
